3 Modes of Operation.

Run DI only, RO only or RO-DI ! Easy to switch and it is the best Pure Water Workflow.

RO for Low

By not adding DI filtration to the process, this mode reduces back pressure off the permeate side of the membrane. This allows for a higher volume of pure water production rate at lower supply water pressures and temperatures.

This is the most economical operational mode.

Use this mode when the RO filter can generate spot-free water without requiring to be polished to TDS000 by the DI Filter.

Perfect for jobs like solar panel cleaning or window cleaning in soft water areas.

DI for High

A) Garden Hose direct to DI Filter.

In areas where town supply water chlorination is low ( 1-2ppm), simply connect the garden hose supply to the INLET side of the DI Filter.

Attach a hose for your water fed pole to the OUTLET and you will be cleaning with De- Ionised Water immediately.

This is the most expensive operational mode.

Use for High Reach applications where the RO is unable to supply enough flow for efficient operation. In this case, the volume of water is greater from DI than from RO, enabling you to work faster. The increased cost of purification will be offset by the savings in labour time with the increased water flow. Revert to RO when the upper windows have been cleaned and the RO is able to meet the Operators requirements for efficient operation.

Perfect for over 3 storeys (40 feet) or areas where water supply pressure cannot supply enough water through the RO filter for efficient operation.

B) Garden Hose to Sed-Carbon Filter to DI Filter.

In areas where town supply water chlorination is high ( over 3ppm), or the water supply is known to be dirty, connect the garden hose supply to the INLET side of the Sed/Carbon Filter. Take the tube from the OUTLET of the Sed/Carbon Filter and connect to the INLET side of the DI Filter.

Attach the hose for your water fed pole to the DI Filter OUTLET and you will be cleaning with De- Ionised Water immediately.

This set-up minimizes the cost of using DI Only

RO-DI Workflow

Wash-iT PRO RO will remove up to 99% of the dissolved solids from the supply water.

Connect your garden hose to the INLET of the Sed/Carbon Filter.

The tube from the OUTLET of the Sed/Carbon Filter will flow water to the INLET at the top of the Stainless Steel RO Housing. The OUTLET at the base of the RO Housing will connect to the INLET of the DI Filter.

Simply connect your hose for the Water Fed Pole to the Outlet of the DI Filter and you will be cleaning with spot-free water immediately.

Then the last 1% or whatever is the balance, is completely removed by the DI resin to give you a low cost TDS 000.

In this mode, Wash-iT PRO produces high quality, low cost pure water.

This is the usually the default Operational Mode and is inexpensive.

The Wash-iT PRO handle is designed to be ergonomically balanced for the Operator - standing at 4 feet (125cm), it is perfectly designed to be at waist height when the Operator is moving it around a worksite.

The Wash-iT PRO handle is especially designed for aiding the movement of the working hoses when moving Wash-iT PRO around a worksite. Simply hook your looped hoses over the handle and you can move the unit freely with a spare hand.

The Wash-iT PRO handle also enables the Wash-iT PRO to be safely secured on sloping terrain by laying the system down, and using the handle as an arrest. This design feature means the Operator can safely secure the unit in any landscape conditions and keep working.

Water left in a Pure Water System after operation potentially adds more than 10lb

( 4kg) to the system weight, so Wash-iT PRO is cleverly designed to drain prior to moving. This means that the Operator moving Wash-iT PRO in and out of the vehicle is maneuvering the least weight possible.

Another design feature is the ability to close all the openings on the Wash-iT PRO so that there are no drips in your vehicle during transit. Simply close the valve at the base of the RO System, take the hose off the base of the RO system and connect it to the OUTLET of the DI Filter.

Securing loose items is imperative to avoid trauma in the unlikely event of a collision when you are driving your vehicle. Whether a van, a 4WD, or a Pick-up, a Pure Water System is potentially a missile in the event of an accident.

Wash-iT PRO is designed with in-vehicle restraint in mind. 2 holes have been drilled into the frame at the front and the back of the unit, enabling the Operator to use Ratchet Straps or hooks to secure the unit in the vehicle during transit.

The Design With You in Mind !

Wash-iT PRO is intentionally designed with no proprietary filters. Each filter is able to be replaced or refilled by any supplier in the local Water Filtration industry.

Of course, we want you to support our distributors, and there are different price- points for different quality of filtration, but we also want you to have the freedom to support them for their service and value, not to corner you into high-priced proprietary (means you can only buy from them) renewable filters.

Wash-iT PRO Sediment Carbon

The Wash-iT PRO Sediment/Carbon filter is a standard 5 micron 10” filter that is used in your under-sink domestic water filtration system. There are 2 types on the market :

a) The Split Filter ( 5” White Sediment and 5” Blue Activated Carbon )

b) The Activated Carbon filter ( 5 micron outside, activated carbon inside )

Both these filters work with the water pushing through the outside of the filter ( inside the 10” housing) and leaving the filter through a centre core to go to the RO or the DI.

Wash-iT PRO Reverse Osmosis Membrane

Reverse Osmosis membranes are actually designed to be used continuously ... but in the Window Cleaning industry, we use them sporadically.

There are a big range in flow-rates possible from RO membranes and a big range in membrane quality that reflects on the working life of the membrane.

Even with all that in mind, we felt it important to design Wash-iT PRO so the Operator could replace the filter from a local supplier if they chose to.

The RO Housing is an industry standard 304 Stainless Steel housing for 40” x 4” RO Membranes.

Wash-iT PRO DI Resin

De-Ionisation resins also vary a lot in quality and this reflects on your efficiency. The resins you are looking for for window cleaning are called mixed-bed resins. All MB Resins will purify water to TDS000 - the issue is how long they last before they need to be changed, and the cost and inconvenience of changing. Note: Regenerated resin has a working life of 60-70% of virgin resin, so it is not always as cost effective as it seems.
