Water Fed Window Cleaning was born 60 years ago by the Tucker Bros in USA - they had a dual-trim nylon bristle broom-style brush with an over-the-top fan jet. The problem was it was wetting above the 'agitation zone' making a spot-free rinse difficult  - so they changed the design to add two pencil jets to the center of the brush, removing a number of bristles around the jets to prevent them blocking the off-glass-rinse jetstreams.  And so it was for 50 years - any newcomer to the industry copied the TUCKER Brush concepts, using technology to make the brushes smaller and lighter, but never faster.

The challenge of Water Fed Window cleaning was always 'how to get a spot-free rinse' and 'how to remove non-water-soluble debris' from the glass surface. This is where RHG TUCKER introduced the 'REACH AROUND' Y part that added a scrub block behind the water fed brush. This meant to remove any non-water-solubles, you need to flip the brush, scrub, then flip back to agitate and rinse - if not effective, repeat. By adding this extra step, an operator could clean the window effectively, but at the expense of operator time.

REACH-iT, dedicated to both efficiency and ergonomics went about the route of adding the more aggressive SCRUB PAD to the inside of the brush so the aggressive AGITATION occurred in the same cleaning motion. we started with a fixed block, then a convex block and finally at RADIAL ROCKER.  With 20º range of motion, the rocking SCRUB BLOCK ensures the full SCRUB PAD is always square on the glass, maximizing the agitation efficacy.  The rocker block offsets the change in angle between the pole and the window that occurs as you clean from top of a window to bottom. Flat-style SCRUB blocks (converted floor mops) do not stay flat on the glass, meaning you only have contact with the bottom edge at the top of the window, and the top edge at the bottom of the window.

Included with your RADIAL ROCKER are 8 different SCRUB PADS which means you can choose if you need to 'flick' (bristles), 'grab' or 'scrape' the debris to remove it quickly off the glass and flush it effectively with the rinse water. This guarantees you can remove all debris quickly - no matter it is paint-overspray, bee-poo, stickers and sticker residue, silicone and silicon creep, fly-poo, artillery fungus, etc. All in the same normal agitation In the upstroke.

Returning to the TUCKER over-the-top fan rinse - the Tucker Bros had it right, but they couldn't work the solution. Their compromise meant that rinsing with pencil jets for the next 50 years would be off-glass-rinse.  ANOTHER REACH-iT INNOVATION was the built-in rinse bar on the top edge of the brush. This has since been imitated with bolt-on rinse bars for the same broom-style brushes. The RADIAL RINSE BARS all direct the jetstreams above the bristles when splayed on the glass, into the corners and out to the edges so the whole window is rinsed spot-free edge-to-edge without lifting the RADIAL ROCKER off the glass - delivering the ultimate SINGLE ACTION CLEANING - AGITATE on the UPSTROKE, RINSE on the DOWNSTROKE, with no secondary rinse action needed, regardless the window is hydrophobic or hydrophilic.
