Why does my REACH-iT RO system make less pure water in early spring?
Water temperature changes RO output a lot. At 75°F / 24°C inlet water an RO makes about double the pure water it makes at 39°F / 4°C. In spring the ground water can still be near freezing even on a warm day. A booster pump (the REACH-iT PUMP for FLOW BLUE, or FLOW GOLD's built-in booster) raises the pressure to make up for it. The FLOW Pressure and Temperature Gauge shows your inlet water temperature.
What is the REACH-iT PUMP and where does it go?
The REACH-iT PUMP is a mains-powered rotary vane booster pump. Connect it in front of your RO-DI system to boost the inlet pressure, so the RO makes more pure water. It's designed for 1 or 2 x 4040 RO systems, up to 120 PSI.
Which voltage of REACH-iT PUMP should I choose?
The REACH-iT PUMP comes in 110V (North America) or 220-240V. Pick the one that matches your mains power on the product page. When ordering it in a FLOW BLUE V3 CORE DUAL bundle, tell REACH-iT which voltage you need.
