WATER FED POLE EXTENSIONS (incl SHOCKSTOP)

ANOTHER REACH-iT INNOVATION - circa 2012 

Extend your REACH-iT PROFESSIONAL POLE with extensions to reach greater heights. If you do not ever plan to extend your water fed pole, then you can just buy the REACH-iT CHEEP POLES up to 24FT actual length - they are HYBRID with Carbonfiber and Fiberglass. 

In 2013, we innovated the first 2-part reverse telescopic extension for our poles - in those days, REACH-iT were the only brand selling poles that could strategically pull-apart one story at a time, and so it made sense to be able to also extend the poles one story at a time.  Our first extension we called 'XT' and it fitted to the base of the pole. This was copied in 2015 by UNGER with their first generation of N-LITE and several years later by XERO - about the same time as we discontinued this BASE EXTENSION.  

Now, we have PLUS A and PLUS B extensions  - the reasons are several and convincing : Firstly, the PLUS B, as a higher section insert into the pole, is 50% lighter than the BASE EXTENSION, and PLUS A is another 30% lighter again.  Adding a BASE EXTENSION does not require a higher modulus carbonfiber, so it is cheaper, but it also adds a lot of weight to the pole, forcing a greater flex, especially when you need to clean from further away from the building face.  By adding lighter, higher modulus extensions, we can reduce the flex where the pole naturally wants to flex - we are in fact, not only extending the pole, but simultaneously adding a 'stiffening kit'. That is why we add PLUS A first, and multiple PLUS B can be added second.

WARRIOR - with SHOCKSTOP, this pole system is. 4 stories out-of-the-box, able to be extended with PLUS A, and PLUS B to 7 stories. These extensions are the highest modulus (stiffness to weight ratio) possible for civilian purchasing. WARRIOR Extensions are made from Ultra-Hi-Modulus carbonfiber and each add 11FT reach. 

TACTICAL - with SHOCKSTOP, TACTICAL is 3 stories out-of-the-box, able to be extended with PLUS A and PLUS B to 5 stories. These extensions are HI-MODULUS.  TACTICAL Extensions are made from Hi-Modulus carbonfiber and each add 8FT reach. 

MINI - with SHOCKSTOP, MINI is 3 stories out-of-the-box, able to be extended to 4 stories with PLUS B for TACTICAL.  The reason is that MINI is 100% carbonfiber, however it is standard carbonfiber while TACTICAL is 60% HI-MODULUS carbonfiber, therefore more rigid.

SHOCKSTOP - your KEVLAR protection against shock electrocution (carbonfiber conducts electricity extremely well) - HIPOT tested and certified to 10,000 VOLTS for 3 minutes without breakdown. While other industry shock protection extension sleeves are fiberglass as it is cheaper, we use KEVLAR as it is 40-45% lighter! SHIOCKSTOP can be used as a protective sleeve, or a 5FT extension.
